Susan is the Director of Marketing and a member of the operations team. She has been with The Grove Park Inn since December 2008. As Director of Marketing, Susan oversees all internal and external communications, integrated marketing initiatives, public relations, website development, special events, and floral.

Susan earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Georgia State University and has over 20 years of experience in the travel & hospitality, aviation, and financial services industries. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she spent a good portion of her career at Delta Air Lines overseeing the development, marketing, and management of the Delta Vacations domestic and international packaged tour product.

Susan is a current member of the North Carolina Bankers Association and has held membership on the North Carolina Airports Council, the American Association of Airport Executives, and the Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina. She has also served on several local tourism, public relations, transportation, and economic development committees.
